Wanna share about one passage...
(John 14:1-7) Where does Jesus plan to take His followers someday?
As human beings we're lost-but not because our Owner decided He was tired of caring for us. We weren't flung out of a moving car in the middle of nowhere, or stuck in a bag ans sunk to the bottom of a lake. We wandered away from God. And we're a long ways away.
Asking people how to get back home ist't much help. They're lost too. Look for God inside yourself, they say. Word hard to be good enough for God. Trust cold concrete data and nothing else. Accept fate. Make up your own beliefs. Look to spirits and stars. Pummel your body to perfection. Get rid of desire-care about nothing.
Human thought can't lead you through life to an eternity of paradise with God. Its destinations are confused. Its routes are dead ends.
Jesus know where to take you and how to get there. he's tracked you down. He says, 'I am the way the truth and the life. Want to come home?' Only Jesus is the way- He died for you and opened the gate back to God. Only Jesus is truth- He gives a perfect picture of God. Only Jesus is the life- He conquers death so you can live eternally.
He's the one road back to where you belong.
Jesus answer, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
